San Francisco Photography Studio

welcome to our studio.

We have lived in the neighborhood for over 12 years, together for 15 years, and married for 10.

Emily has had the love for photography ever since she was little, and has been a professional photographer at Emily Jenks Photography for 5 years, serving hundreds of families and couples, focusing on smaller weddings and elopements, along with newborn, maternity and family photos. She loves to document every stage of life!

Oh hello! We are Tony and Emily Jenks - Co-Owners of Sunrise & Sunset Studios! 

Tony has a background in international affairs and the nonprofit sector, after working at the British Consulate General in San Francisco for 5 years and the Japanese Community Youth Council in San Francisco’s Japantown for over 5 years.

Tony is very passionate about his family and helping support the family business that Emily has successfully created and built. Tony has officiated over 150 weddings for Emily Jenks photography since 2020, loves nature and photography (especially Emily’s), and helped found and launch Sunrise & Sunset Studios.

These elements combined led Tony to join the Emily Jenks Photography team full-time as Director of Operations, where he will also help manage Sunrise & Sunset Studios. 

We created this space close to home to share with clients and other creatives — a place to create intimate memories together.

Our curated, natural-light studio space is perfect for families, couples, newborn, milestone, product, branding, and social media content photo and video shoots! It’s also perfect for small, intimate meetups.

Emily picked up a camera for the first time when she was 10, and have always had the love for taking photos. She loves that she can be part of so many people's lives in San Francisco!

Studio photographer

Skyler is an expert in all things photo composition, lighting, and camera settings. She is fun and easy-going so you’ll love having her around! She is a family & boudoir pro who can serve as your guide for the day.

Everything in the studio is movable - we have lots of pillows, vaces, faux plants, decorative items, tables, chairs, and even a convertible sofa bed! To check out all the features we have, check out the page below. 

Start creating your magic, and when you are done, put everything to where it was, leave the keys back in the lockbox, and that's it! (Putting things away isn't your thing? No worries, you can add on your personal "put things away" person for $50.)

Once you have your photos/content, share it with us, and we will feature you on our socials and/or on our website AND you will get a special code for a discounted rate for your future bookings.
